“Unveiled Before The King” was birthed out of a desperate place of wanting to know who God is intimately. I was taught that there was a particular way that I had to dress, pray, speak, act, and worship. Because I was raised that way, it caused me to drift away from God with the mentality that he didn’t want anything to do with me because I didn’t fit the status quo. I want to share with others that, yes indeed, there is only one way to God, and that’s through His Son, Jesus Christ. (John 14:6)

He created us in unique ways. As we draw close to Him, He draws close to us (James 4:8), and He reveals who we truly are and all the different layers each of us has on the inside. In the book of 2 Samuel 6:14, it says, “And David danced before the Lord with all his might, wearing a priestly garment.” I want the readers of this blog to embrace their authenticity in God and go before our King unveiled. Unlike Esther, when she approached the King unsummoned, she could’ve been killed; that was the law. Now, because of the blood shed on the cross by our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, we can go before him boldly. When he looks at us, he sees his son! What a gift! What an honour!

I’m excited to share with you the journey of what the Lord has taught me and downloaded into my spirit, as He is slowly showing me that He is the Creator who desires a real and true relationship with His Creation. The highest level of intimacy requires the greatest amount of trust in our relationship. It is only when we feel truly safe with somebody that we become willing to share the deepest core of who we are. It's up close and personal. The secret place is designed for you and him to enjoy, in whatever way that looks like for you and your Heavenly Father.

Heart Of Alabaster

 The word alabaster is defined as: “A smooth, usually white and nearly transparent gypsum used for carving (as vases).” Your heart is a translucent vase for the Lord to reside in. It is very precious and fragile to him. He desires that we are aware of how special it is, and tells us to guard it! (Proverbs 4:23) In the definition described above, it says, “used for carving.” This heart we have needs constant tending to because of the challenges of life and the spiritual warfare we endure for the sake of following Jesus. He desires for us to understand that he is the artisan of our hearts. His craftsmanship is unmatched! Although our hearts are not white physically, when we allow the artisan of our hearts to come and dwell with his masterpiece, it becomes white spiritually. (Purity)  I want to emphasize that our hearts only become pure when the artisan of our hearts comes in and dwells with what he has taken time to make. Light is how we learn what darkness is.”

 Today, God began to speak to me about the reality that we don’t truly understand darkness until light steps in. As I sat with that, it caused me to think deeply about my own life. I’m currently in a season where it feels as though I’m surrounded by darkness—where it seems like there is no light at the end of my tunnel. For a while, I struggled to find God in the middle of this. Through tears—spoken out loud and whispered in my heart—I kept asking Him,  How could You possibly be in this? Do You not see the tears falling from my face? Have You not heard my cries? Are You not the God who sees—Jehovah El-Roi? I found myself angry with God, because it felt as though my cries didn’t matter, as if they were being overlooked. And that hurt deeply. I often asked,  When will this end? When will it be over? But today, I paused and wondered— what if the darkness is not really darkness at all? I sat down, tears flowing, and asked the Holy Spirit,  What are You trying to teach me...
